Here at Company Search MadeSimple we can provide you with copies of filed company documents for just £1.99 (per document). In this post we’re going to look at a change that you may notice in regards to the Annual Return.
On June 30th 2016 the Annual Return (AR01) was renamed the Confirmation Statement (CS01). As well as the new name, the information contained within the document has been updated too.
It still includes the regular company information such as SIC code, registered office, director, share and shareholder information but now it also includes the company’s ‘People with Significant Control’ (PSC).
This means that when you complete a company search, you may see within the list of documents a company has filed, the ‘Confirmation Statement (CS01)’.
This has been introduced by the government to add transparency to UK limited companies as the PSC information lets you see who owns a limited company. And as this is publically accessible information, we can now provide said information to you via our company documents service.
