The “Made Up To Date” is the date that the information in the returns or accounts was correct up to. The “Date Accounts Filed” is simply the date that the last accounts were filed.

If you are viewing a director report and decide that you would like to purchase a report on one of the companies that the director is a director of, simply click on the company name in “Directorships” field. This will open up a new tab dedicated to the company that allows you to purchase any of our company credit reports.

Because company credit reports are static once they have been purchased, we delete them after 12 months to prevent them from becoming completely outdated. To check the expiry dates for your company reports, login and select “My Company Reports”. The expiry date can be found on the far right of the report column.

If someone was previously a limited company director but has since been disqualified you can still purchase a director report on them. Simply search as you normally would:
• From our homepage select “Director Search”
• Enter the director’s name
• Hit “Search”!

It’s important to remember that once a company report has been purchased, the document never changes. Even if the company were to undergo any changes, that particular company credit report will not be updated. To view an updated company credit report you simply need to purchase a new one.

Sometimes our company reports will display the message “Analysed – Non balancing”. So what does this mean?
This note appears when a company’s balance sheet doesn’t balance correctly, therefore we’re unable to provide a rating.

If you would like to purchase a report on a non limited company:
• select the “Advanced Search” option from our homepage
• enter the company name
• tick the “Non Limited” option
• select “Search”
• select the company you’re interested in
• purchase the report

If a company has not filed company accounts, the account area in our company report will be empty. We have now clarified this. Our company search process now makes it clear if there is no account information included within the report, before you make the purchase, with the following message:
No accounts filed – report will be brief, accounts information will be empty
